Mission Statement
To provide students a well-rounded and balanced curriculum that incorporates life fitness concepts along with exposure to a variety of sport and leisure activities.
Expectations and Conduct
- Always be respectful of yourself and others.
- Follow class rules and procedures.
- Listen and follow instructions carefully.
- Always give your best effort!
- Have Fun!!!
Class Rules
- Proper P.E. uniform must be worn at all times. (Green Lane Tech shorts, Yellow Lane Tech T-shirt, athletic socks and Gym Shoes)
- Remove all jewelry (earrings, watches, necklaces, etc…)
- LOCK all personal belongings in a locker. (all locks must be removed at the end of class)
- No misbehaving in locker rooms.
- Permission must be asked before leaving to use the washroom or drinking fountain.
- Equipment must be used safely and properly at ALL times, and only with the permission of the Mr. Eisenberg.
- Report any broken or defective equipment immediately.
- Inappropriate language will NOT be tolerated!
- No cell phones, I-pods, MP 3players or other electronics devices allowed .

- Any non-compliance of the rules expectation/conduct will result in any form of disciplinary action deemed appropriate by Mr. Eisenberg.
Daily Class Procedures
- Report to locker room before the tardy bell.
- 6 minutes will be given after the tardy bell to report to the designated teaching area for attendance. Any time after 6 minutes will be considered tardy.
- Warm-ups will be performed immediately after attendance has been taken.
- Activity / Skill/Rules Introduction
- Cool down / Re-cap
- Change out of P.E. Uniform and wait for dismissal.
Medical Excuse
- A parental note will allow a student to be excused from participation in P.E. class for the maximum of two days. (appropriate alternative work will be assigned)
- A doctor's note will be required for anytime thereafter.
- Any injuries or illness needs to be reported to Mr. Eisenberg immediately!
- Any medical problems that prohibit/limit participation in class need to be brought to the attention of Mr. Eisenberg by the student and/or the student's parent or guardian.
- All students sitting out due to medical reasons must dress for PE and sit out in uniform!!!
Grading
- Each student will be awarded five points per day for being in proper uniform and participating in class.
- Zero points for zero participation (Students must be in uniform to participate)
- Points are deducted for absences and tardies to class
- Quarters 1 and 2 will be cumulative and be averaged for a 1st semester grade. Quarters 3 and 4 cumulative for 2nd semester grade
- Points will be deducted for non-compliance of any of the above mentioned Expectation/Conduct, Rules, or Procedures
Grading Scale
A = 100-95%
B = 94- 88%
C = 87-81%
D = 80-75%
F = 74%-Below
